nadda

i honestly do not know what to write about here, i feel like i have lost my blogger zing or i'm just plain having writer's block. who knows, but i can't stand not having a recent post on here and i'm always up for a good vent or bitch fest. but i have nothing today i'm just here going thru all the motions of my day to day life. scary.

i have several topics that i would eventually like to write about ie. embarssing moments from my life and other's that i have witnesed or incountered but i'm just to damn lazy to write about it today. in fact i have been lazy now for over a week as my job is none productive therefore i am non-productive at home and with my personal life. sigh.

we are now able to read a magazine or book at work but we had to promise that when it gets busy again that we will put them away and focus on our work. what are we in kindergarden?? seriousily this is the weirdest/strangest place ever. anyways i am now all caught up on the celeb world as i have read several issues of In Touch, Star, People, Glamour and i am also a wiz at Search a Word puzzles i am even debating on entering some sort of contest or something i am that damn good. ha ha

ok, tired now spent way to much engery here. time to move on and catch up on other blogs & sites.

oh and before i forget, how the heck is Scott Savol still in AI? am i the only one that thinks this guy sucks???? pls tell me i am not alone.

10 Things i did today

1)woke up this morning and decided that it was time to dig out my sandals as we have been having fab spring weather and it was just time. so i go to work with my sandals on felling v. spring like and happy only to encouter some rain showers and chilly conditions apon ariving to work. i then spent the rest of my day shivering and wimpering as i was freezing. guess i was wrong about it being sandal time (i will not, NOT put them away again though as i just plain refuse).

2)arrived for another eventful/productive day at work today only to sit on my ass for 8 hrs doing absoltely diddly squat, but hey if they want to pay me just to sit there and wait for the phone to ring....guess i should not really be complaining but it is extremely painful and boring.

3)received an email from "management" stating that it was inappropriate and un-profesional to be reading a magazine or book at our cubicles and that we should be "role-playing" or reading our "scripts" for the hundreth time.....guess i better put that book away now.........

4)proceeded to then play and doodle with the paint program on our computers..........needles to say that did not last very long as i have no artisctic talent what-so-ever. but it amused me for like an hour if that.

5) found out why eyelash girl does not have any eyelashes. she "opened" up to me and explained that she has some sort of nerve problem and when she is stressed out she will sit and pull them out without even knowing that she is doing it (v. creepy). and i was all like "no way" i soooo did not even notice that you didn't have any eye lashes.....(god i'm such a liar and an evil person, i'm so going to hell.........). but we bonded and it made for an intersting discussion again only lasting 30 min or so.

6)i work with a gay guy (no offense to anyone as i don't care if you are gay or not, all the power to you) who is very snobby and down right rude against other gays. he's very much a snob and thinks he is way better than everyone else. quite amuzing to listen to him ramble on and on and bitch at fellow workers that they are not reading the script properly, this is pretty much all i did this afternoon

7)ate out for lunch with the girls at work, tried a new place called Roasters?? don't ever eat there the chicken is horrible and it gave us all really bad gass and heart burn. all i could smell all afternoon was chicken.....so not right in fact i'm still suffering from the gas

8)talked with Big V (Veronica) a girl i work with & who happens to sit beside me and who really keeps me sane and working there for awhile about sex and different positions and such. this conversation lasted for a little while as we wen't into "un-known" territory that neither of us have thus tried or ventured into. she is vowing that she is going to and we laughed and laughed and then got in trouble but it's now an on going joke. just for the record i will never go there, ever......ewwwwwwwww

9)i'm still shuddering over the last one

10)ok where am i at now....well i came home at super which hubby had ready again. he's so sweet and good to me and it's nice to come home to a cooked meal, i'm soooo going to hate him going back to work next week. anyways i was feeling really fat and bloated and decided to take the 2 dogs for a walk with hubby for quality time together.

oh and my predictions for idol tonight aren't really much different than last week. my 3 bottom pics are: Scott, Anthony and Anwar. my pic to go home tonight would probably be Scott, but hell you never know.

It's Friday i'm in love

i've never been happier to see a friday come in my life.

reason number one:

it's my first offical pay check from my new job and i could not be any happier to see that money in my account. about damn time. going 3 weeks without a pay check is brutal and downright cruel i might add. so happy to have money again and to be able to pay bills and credit cards ~big sigh of relief~ now only 2 more weeks to go before hubby gets back at work and then will really be rollin in the dough.....he he he (laughing evily right now). oh i can't wait to go shopping.

reson number two:

the weather is finally, FINALLY starting to look good again and i think it is supposed to be a very warm weekend in our neck of the woods. i sure as hell hope so as their is a 4 wheeler ralley/poker rally tommorrow and i really want to go, drink some beer get muddy and wet and just lighten the hell up and have some fun.

reason number three:

this past week at work has been really frustrating and brutal on me mentally and emotionally. i finally cracked yesterday and wen't to my supervisor to let her know that i am this close to quitting and is there any possible way that i could do something else. unfortunately there isn't anything at this time but they let me know that our next project is incoming calls which hopefully will not be so bad. i'm going to try, try i my best to stick it out but honestly i have been thru the ringer and i don't know how much more i can take. i'm just gonna take it a day at a time and try not to wig out over little things.

so it's friday and what day of the week is any better than that (except mabye saturday). enjoy what is left of it my friends. i know i sure as hell am.

see ya later suckers!!!!!

"T" Rif

some may ask wtf? but for me i hear this expression on a daily basis and now it is implemented in my demented brain. what it means you may ask, well a girl at work has a habit or i should say tendancy to say "terrific". to some this may just seem like any plain odinary word, but no, uh huh no way. this girl has made me hate and loathe this word. just the way she says it and unfortunately words cannot possibly describe too you fellow readers but it drives me BATTY. no wonder i'm fucked up. for example when we she places a call and she cannot get thru to anyone or she is being "blocked" by reception she will state that's TERRIFIC in a high pitched almost Barbie like voice (shudders). most girls at work find this v. funny but not me. sometimes she gets past 3 t-rifs in one conversation and by then i am starting to twitch/spaze in my little cubicle when she says this. is this normal? i think i'm losing my mind........yet again.

onto other thing. i'm thinking of changing my screen name to an old name that i had years, and years ago when i used to frequent chat rooms. some may recall (espically jill and andy) this name and it has a kinda cool meaning to it for me. v.lame i may add but i like it (you can note it or not note it on the side....). anyways the whole meaning of this name for me started when Boogie Nights came out (think it was in 98 or 99 and i just love the 70's and Mark Walburg was in it and who doesn't think he's a piece of ASS) anyways off topic as usual. Heather Graham is in this flic and lo and behold that is or was my madien name and Heather played "rollergirl" in the movie and i liked the name and yeah, so i'm going back to it and will see if pps like it or not. really who the hell cares, except me i guess but i wanted to explain the name change (again).

yet another topic tonight is the American Idol compeition been a long time since i did my predictions. but i'll give her a go. America you are fucked up you should have voted Scott, Antwar and Anthony out wks ago, i seriousily cannot stand these 3 and they irritate the hell out of me. the mute button usually goes on. and what the hell is up with Scott's new cocky attitude? man you suck and you need to go buh bye. i hope he goes but he won't cause you guys vote wrong. i personally love Nadia and think she's v.cool and can sing & she dresses fab, but you will probably send her ass home tommorrow so yeah. that's my take on that shit. the rest of them are all ok but i personally don't give a fuck anymore as none of them have overally impressed me thus far. my unfortunte pick to go home is Nadia, as i usually agree with Simon. the man is always right.

time for bed ~ v. late and getting sleepy. i'm out

MUDDIN

ok, where to begin with this.....

well for starters the men came home from wheelin later in the afternoon probably around 6 0r 7 only to want to bail into Jamie's jeep and go muddin. but first we had to wait for Krystal to come down from the "big" city of Woodstock.

i guess i should first explain what Muddin really is or means to us pps from the back woods. you see we have nothing better to do when were teeny bobbers or even now aparantly than to get extremely loaded and bail in a 4X4 vechile of some kind and look for muddy, wet roads to spin around in and typically most generally get stuck in.

now i don't particularily enjoy this experience, never have, as i'm used to being in control myself and i don't like being thrown around like a rag doll either. in fact last nights eposide took me back to like 6 years ago when we did this same thing and their were like 5 of us crammed in one truck cab and our heads were hitting and we got stuck so bad that we had to call and have "M" come and get us and we had to walk out this icky muddy, wet road at like 2AM. Hubby's truck was stuck so bad they had to have a skidder pull it out the next day......oh those were the glory days.

in fact i think that's what Jamie and hubby were trying to accomplish last night as pretty much exactly the same thing happend. only this time were in a jeep, and it's not quite so crowded. we went along fine for the first hr or so and then we thought we would drop in and see what jilly bean was doin as "M" is away this weekend for work. she always makes things funner for me, so i started sippin on that Boone's wine that Jay just bought and was startin to have fun. we wen't around, and around the race track a few times (which brought some more memories.....) and the boys are like now what.....

so off we go down some road that right away does not look good, the ground right now is super soggy and wet and there is still some snow in the woods. we sink and we sink bad......we aren't goin anywhere. so at this point the boyz are so loaded and laughin and are really enjoin this, meanwhile i'm in the back freakin out. how are we gonna get out of this and no way in hell am i walking in the dark........

so they call a few pps and finally get Karl and Andrew to agree and come bail us out as Andrew has a HUGE mofo of a truck that could easily pull us out. only problem is it's brand NEW and he's v. fussy about scrathes and such so they get there and he won't come in the road.....GREAT. at this time i have to pee so damn bad i can hardly move, i really don't want to get in the mud but i'm gonna have to eventually.

hubby then suggest that andrew take him to get his truck (which he so loves, and he will totally rub this in Jay's face). which brings me to start worrying about him driving as he is v.loaded and should not be driving. oh why can't i ever just lighen up??? so yes, eventually the FORD haules the jeep out of er and man you should see the holes that we left or were in, mud was everywhere and water was just runnin. i was so glad to get out of there and back home let me tell you. so yeah that's my story from last night, better than a typcial boring night at home i guess but i can't say that i enjoyed it either. i probably did not do this justice but it's like early in the morning right now and i should probably crawl my sorry ass back into bed.

til we meet again my friends.

I'm so Happy

yippee skippy i finally have my computer back and running at home!!

weeeeeeeeeeeee

i can blog all i want now, except that their is this weird script thing that pops up every 5 seconds til now saying that their is an error in the pg do you want to continue running....wtf?? andy, HELP me! need to know what to do to fix this.....only does it on this page.....sigh

can never have it easy can i?

well it's Saturday and i wanted nothing more than to go wheelin this weekend and my hubby takes off with the boys and leaves me to sit at home. yeah nice huh. so i've been sitting on my ass eating, although i did walk any hour ago with the dogs but ya know i'm just "L" today (those who do not know, L = lazy).

the weather is fab today, it's finally SPRING hip hip horay! the wicked witch of winter is gone (let's hope so anyways).

well not much else to talk about for now. should go and surf and catch up with everyone's blog.

i'm out.

come and knock on my door......

for some weird reason the theme song from "three's company" has been running rampant through my brain. v. strange espically since i was not even thought of when this show first started on the air and i've only ever watched it on re-runs and even then i can't seem to stomache Susan Somers. that girl really irritates me.......sigh

so hello blog world i am back yet again to say hello. how have things been you may ask well not so peachy keen. i'm not really liking my job (still), some days i just get down right depressed and other days it don't seem so bad. my whole split personally thing really does not cope well with this.......one day i'm happy go lucky, don't care if i get yelled at. the next day i'm plain down glum, ho-hum don't want to call anyone. what to do, what to do.

my mom just yells at me go and find another job!!!! well that's easier said than done mom. then i have my hubby at me saying muck it up and deal with it, a job is a job. well would you want to sit there all day on the phone........yup don't think so.

so some days my chin is up but most days not so.

not much else goin on right now either. hubby and i wen't to the movies on saturday with Jilly Bean and "M", got to watch Sin City. v. cool and dark and violent. loved it & josh hartnett is in in for like mabye 10 sec but man it is ever worth it. yuummmmmmmmmm

well should run, i'm taking up time on jilly's computer, still have yet to get my own back. stupid brother in law, really outta lay into him. i'm sure as hell not paying him (not like i was going to in the first place...ya know!). take care pps & see ya soon!!

"to infinity and beyond.........."

well it's been a long, long time and i'm having serious withdrawl from my blog page

my title refers to my new "unknown" phase of life, you see i started my new job and it's the end of hell week (training/first week on the job) still not sure if i will like it but it's a job and it pays fairly well. suck it up and move on, i know but i'm having major isues & am v. emotional right now.

first of all i'm really, really missing my old job and pps that i worked with and all the perks of a gov't job....sob sob

secondly i hate adjusting to my new hours, really sucks ass

thirdly i hate calling pps all day long and having my boss tell me that i'm not a telemarketer that i'm a pharmasecutical tele-rep....yeah uh huh tell that to the bitch on the other end that just hung up on me.............

fourthly i have yet to get through to the ever elusive doctor and pretty much everyone else around me has....oh and my "pod" yeah who the hell thinks up this shit (it's basically a group of four pps that work together) has two complete off the wall wacko's in it....they are nice and all but really, creppy and werid and down right odd. one girl doesn't have eyelashes???? does she pull them out? do they fall out?? wtf?????

hmmmm what else is on my mind...........

i am so glad to get this shit out and off of my mind, really not mentally well right now and i feel like screaming and crying most of the time. could just be the weather or could be that i've gone off of my rocker again. i'm v. anxious for it to be spring already and the damn snow just won't go away. i hate march and i so can't wait for it to be over.

oh did i mention that i had to work today....hello it's frickin good friday that should be against the law or something. one bonus is that i did get paid time and a half, way cool but i don't get paid for like 3 wks. great

i hate entering new stages of life and i know that in a couple of weeks everything will be better and ok but i hate change, i hate adjusting and adapting to it and it just SUCKS

in the meantime i still have yet to get my computer back from my brother in law, don't know what the hell he is doing with it probably nothing and i want the fucker back already. i always do our banking on line and i just want to blog........but i have ways as you can see god love my family and aunt lois thanks for the computer!!!!

shouting out to all cousins everyone is doing great in our neck of the woods, good to see aunt Caroline and everyone together tonight here at aunt lois's. just glad to not be sitting home alone while hubby is out wheeling god knows where........

anyways gotta run, may be awhile again but i will be back keep checkin in

see ya later ~

I have a JOB!!!!

yippeeeee

i'm soooo excited

I wen't for an interveiw with a company this morning in Hartland and it was the wurst interview experience ever. I felt like I was in some sort of eposide of Amercian Idol or something. They did the interview with everyone they were interviewing right in the room, then we had a conference call with the "head honcho" one by one and they kept coming back in saying that they weren't or were hired. my nerves were so on wire, that when I finally had to go in I was shaking and sweating so badly, man i was in bad shape, but as soon as the guy started asking questions i was fine and it went superb and then he's like so what would you do if we offered you the job.....and i'm like hello, da, no I didn't but I was like most definetely I would take it. So YESSSSS I start training monday, I have a week off to do nothing and life is starting to look up.

so yeah, i found my way to a computer and i just had to write.

until we meet again my friends, i'm out for now

*update*

I couldn't really think of a title today, so "update" will have to do, espically since it has been a couple of days.

major storm hit tuesday/wednesday morning. our area got hit wicked hard and there is ice everywhere. did not get into work that day & the roads are still an icey mess. so i missed my weekly predictions for AI, i did have 3-4 right though i really thought that nikko deserved to go thorugh and not fat ass scott, he so needs to go home right away.

yesterday - i was uber busy with work as i have tons and tons of stuff that i would like/need to get cleaned up before i leave today. so i didn't even get a chance to come here and post, guess i need to get used to that anyways as it looks like my brother-in-law has yet to fix my computer. so this is my last post for awhile. ~sob~ ha ha i will miss it though

v.weird today and yesterday it's finally hitting me that today is my last day here. wen't home last night v.emotional and upset. not getting any easier or better. i don't really like to say goodbye's and all that so i'm not, i'm just going to pretend it's like any other day and leave it at that. so don't want to cry here and i'm hoping that i don't, did a lot of that last night. so will see.

on the plus side i have had a phone interview for yet another reservation centre in F'ton this time for Delta, they want them to be semi/fully billingual ha ha so not me and i tweaked my resume a little and now i have to do some frickin language test.......so not looking forward to this, will not be pretty. i will probably just end up saying this job is not for me.....sorry. another bonus is i have an interview monday morning for a local business not so far as f'ton and i'm really hoping this will go well as they pay ok and it sounds like a good place to work. the only thing is shift work but at this point i don't care, just give me work with good pay and i'm in. so let's hope that one goes well.

have yet to hear anything from the gov't position, probably be weeks before or if i do, will just have to see. also had a co-worker from here put in a good word with a friend of her's at mccains, so i have my name/resume in there as well. so there is lots and lots of possibilities, just have to be patient & select the right one. v. nerve racking and hard on the head though.

so i have lots going on, my mind is constantly racing and i'm not sleeping, probable nervious breakdown is predicted in my near future.

well i'll see you when i see you my friends, don't forget about me as i will be back, god knows i will miss this and many other things. will have serious withdrawl i'm sure.

wish me luck with my on-going job hunt and see you soon

:0)

March Resolutions

lately i've been really noticing my bad habits and instead of doing an "new year's resolution" i'm doing it now in march. better late than never i guess.

so i've complied a little list of all my bad traits/habbits that I am in desperate need of changing. this does not necessarily mean that i will give them up (here's to hoping that I at least give up half of them) but one can only hope.

Bad habit #1 - chewing my nails. i'm espically v.bad right now as i'm stressed out to the MAX so my poor little fin fin's (fingers) do not stand a chance. i'm vowing to change this as my lovely co-workers got me a farewell gift to have a pedicure and manicure, so I have to at least try to slack off of this so I can have nails for her to work with. so far not doing to bad, but this morning i got to chewing on one of my problem nails and yeah i'm sure this will only lead to more chomping this afternoon. i realize that this is a disgusting habit, as many germs, fugi and what not grow under our nails but that just doesn't matter to me. i need to stop this maddness!

habit #2 - eating out at McDonald's, or just plain eating badly (ie: french fries, pizza, anything deep fried....). i've touched on this topic before but i've never actually cut it out of my lifestyle. i did good for like a week and a half and then i was right back to goin thru the drive through.....just plain sad and i'm vowing to not, not eat out this week and once i'm done work i won't be able too. so part of the problem will be solved. the only thing is that when i'm home and bored i like to eat and then eat some more. have been doin somewhat better as i have been trying to buy fruit like apples and oranges so i am making progress.

habit #3 - speeding when i am angry/frustrated. done this a lot lately, in fact most days i feel that i have missed my calling. so should be a professional race car driver, man wouldn't that be fun but really this is not good. luckily, i have never been stopped and god knows i could not afford the bill, but i get great joys out of this but i have scared myself a little so i have slacked off some, but summer is coming and that's not a good sign. but i am trying to rectify this and it's a work in progress & my poor beat up car just can't take the speed like it used to, it starts to shake and rattle around 120KM. poor baby.

habit#4 - drinking pop, any kind of pop whether it's diet, sprite, coke/pepsi. this needs to stop, in fact so far this week i have done well. i'm not a big pop drinker, mabye one a day but i find that it makes me so bloated and feel yucky that i'm just going to cut this out. water all the way baby, and i'm sort of doing a test to see if i feel better in a week or more. will keep you posted

habit#5 - picking the zits on my face until they bleed. yeah this is so not a nice habit to have. ever since i hit my 20's i've been breaking out along my jaw line/on my neck. so not cool. but if and when i find or come across a zit in this area.....oh boy....i will pick and squeeze and pick and pick until i look like i have some sort of rare disease. nasty. been doing ok the last few weeks as i haven't had any major break outs lately *knock on wood*, but when that time of the month comes around you will know as i'm all blotchy and red.

habit#6 - stop being mrs. worry wort. i need to chill out and stop fretting over things that i have no control over. i'm so stressed out over whether or not i should take a job or not i don't know which way is up or down. i can't focus and i'm so damn crabby at home i don't really know how hubby can stand me right now. may be why he spends a lot of the time in our basement.............. i need to relax, and i'm hoping to do this next week.

so i have some challenges ahead but i thing i can beat some of these nasty habits, at least i hope so as i know they bug me and i hate to think of what other pps think.

anyhoo, it's another stormy, yucky day here in the Maritimes. V. Rainy, dark and windy out there, i just hope that it doesn't freezing rain which it's supposed to do.

Again need to stop worrying.......not off to a good start. i'll keep ya's posted!

c-ya later

GD Potholes

my latest erk/quirk is potholes. man i hate these buggers

you see this time of year it's not quite warm enough or cold enough outside that the roads go all to hell. espically here in the wonderfull town of woodstock. it's no wonder i have no shocks or struts in my car. i almost fell into one of these holes and i almost didn't come out of it as it was so GD big. no matter how frickin hard you try to avoid them you still hit a new one or the one you try not to hit every damn morning. sometimes you have no choice but to hit it and grin and bear it as on coming traffic is coming at you. i pity anyone who has a new car, it won't be new for very long on these streets.

note - avoid upper main street at all costs, this is the wurst, wurst ever and go around if at all possible

there are holes, and cracks and bumps and crunks and i just frickin hate it. they won't do anything to these roads until spring so we are just supposed to take this and go along with it. stupid government, stupid town of woodstock grrrrrr

oh and stupid blog today as i was having technical difficulties signing in, etc today, v. complicated/strange and i pretty much had to reboot to solve the problem. grrrrrr

isn't it a lovely day out there today...................NOT

I'm in a FUNK

feelin v. crappy, tired, lazy, no energy what-so-ever, borderline sick & feeling majorly sorry for self today

wanna go home

don't really have anything to talk about today, nothing funny, nothing exciting, just nadda

well one thing exciting is that my sissy is coming home in almost a week. can't wait to see her & spend quality time as I arranged to have my last 3 days of work off just for her (well also for me) but still, so I have the whole week to see her! This is the first time that she's ever come home and I haven't been working. So v. excited to see her & can't wait to take her & joel tubing in upper kintore.

Note to jilly have a sick day at some point when she's home so that you can come with :0)

think that I need to go on a BIG bender and get totally shit faced. Plotting when & where I can do this. Mabye i'll wait to sissy gets home.

found out today that even though i'm done work on the 16th I will still end up getting a paycheck until March 31 as casual employees are back paid, don't really understand it but hey I won't complain. v.cool & takes some of the stress off of my back. I will also have blue cross coverage until then too, so I should stock up on pills & book my dentist appt....he he he so evil.

test that I did on wednesday for gov't job did not go so well. extremely difficult & nerve wracking, don't really have a good feelin about it but you never know what the hell they are looking for. i'm not going to hold my breath for it though, if they call great, if not then onto something else.

well that's it for today ~ have a great, super duper weekend

AI Predictions - Week Two & Amazaing Race is BACK

Predictions for Amercian Idol this week are a little tougher but I have it narrowed down.

Bottom 3 Boyz

Wurst performance of the night has to go to Anthony Fedorov the boy can sang but he reminds me too much of a guy that I graduated with who could sing ok, but he was gay and Anthony is gay and he looks and sounds just like Clay Atkien. Sorry Anthony but one Clay is enough. His performance was v. boring and draggy until he hit some good long notes, overall not good enough and he lacks major charisma & stage prescene. Should be one to go.

2nd pick to go is David Brown. The judges keep saying that he's better than that and he needs to step it up. I don't like him, song was lame and boring and down right painful for me & I don't like his resemblance to a cling on from Star Trek either. Lose the dreds man. If he doesn't go (which he probably won't) then he will soon, guranteed

3rd pick to possibly go home is Constaine Maroulis. I liked this guy right away, lately not so much. His attitude and ego are way to much to take in & he's not that great of a singer. Still I find him extremely hot and sexy (must be the long shaggy hair & resemblance to a hippy, man I have a weak spot for hippies......) ok sorry got derailed there, his performance just wasn't up to snuff and I don't think he's connecting. Could be wrong here and I probably am as i'm sure the girls are voting for him but again I don't feel he will be around very long.

My surprize performance of the night that just blew me (and the judges) away was Bo Bice. He's not as sexy or cool as Constaine but man can this guy rock and sing. I didn't know the song, didn't care, he was AMAZING, totally took me by surprize and codo's to him for steppin up to the plate. Keep it up buddy, got to have at least one rocker/hippy dude in the competition.

Bottom 3 Girlz

Janay Castine, girl you should have went home last week at least you could have left gracefully. Where to begin with you....oh god her outfit was just tacky, tacky, tacky. The song choice was "hit em up style" by Blu Cantrell. Good song to sing along with while drivin a car but it was her only song, a one hit wonder per say. Don't ever pick a one hit wonder pps you know your headin down a one way alley if you do and that's out the door. Good riddance Janay never liked you anyways.

Celena Raye chose to sing a Faith Hill song.........shaking head........you just don't, DON'T ever chose to do a Faith Hill song. Everytime they do they don't come close and it's just brutal and it hurts your ears. Previous contants have gong down this road and she should have known better. Agree with Simon (as usual) that she should be singing in a hotel, she just doesn't have that somethin that would make her stand out. She's pretty enough and sings ok but it's just not good enough.

3rd and final pick is Alhoa Mischeaux. First of all wtf was up with her wack hairdo? Holy cow looked faguely like a beehive yet it still had pieces on the sides.....weird & nasty. Second of all again don't touch pps song's that you don't belong in. IE Alicia Keys, the girl is one of the best acts out there right now and you just don't go near her stuff cause your gonna flop big time. Not a good performance, nasty hair but she seems to be a favorite of the judges so I dunno but I think she deserves to be here (for now anyways)

Surprize performance of the night goes to Mikalah Gordon whom I still am not really liking as she sounds to nasal to me but she stepped up last night and chose a song that the judges didn't expect her to ever do and she was pretty good I must say. Showing that she is versatile & a competor to be reckoned with. She'll be around for awhile yet.

Ok, enough of AI onto bigger and better things.....god i'm so excited that this is on again I can't contain myself. Amazing Race 7 started last night and I love, love this show and to top it off Rob and Amber from SURVIVOR are on it. Now most pps hate them but I am in love with Rob, love his attitude (he so just does it for the camera & he makes good t.v), love how smart and witty he is, etc, etc etc. They probably won't get that far in this as everyone in it does not want them to win, but i'm so happy just to see him back on t.v that I hope they last for awhile yet. Other fav teams so far are the two gay guys who are just too funny and out there that I can't help but laugh; the two semi hot brothers ~ watch out for them pps; and the guy who is contantly bitchin at his on/off girlfriend why I like them I dunno.

Teams that I hate are of course the two dumb blondes who were all like were "skinny" and "blonde" and don't judge us by our looks. Stupid tits, but I do give them codo's for actually doing the basket challenge, god knows I couldn't have done it. I don't like the African American married couple either just something there that I am not liking.

Lots and lots of good t.v on lately and it's only just begun. So EXCITING he he he he

Well, I get to leave early again today, have to be in F'ton for 5:00 to take my test for a gov job that I applied for. Really nervous and anxious just to get it over with. I just don't or I should say that i'm trying not to get my hopes up to much but I would really, really love to have this job & it would just make things so much easier if I did get it. Guess I just have to keep tellin myself that if it's ment to be then it will "be". It's out of my hands and I need to quit fretting.

Easier said than done.

Anyways, gotta run ~ Wish me luck :0)

Holy Cow it's a Blizzard out there!!!

man oh man it's one hell of a crazy, wild-n-windy day out there and to top it off it's snowing. There are white out conditions all over the highway's and the RCMP are telling pps to stay off the road.

Why the hell are we still open??? Can anyone explain this to me. I just was talking to my supervisor and apparantly an e-mail was sent out by the "big" guy that pps who live out of town (ie: me) can leave early but they will have to make up the time. WTF??? If I die on the way home I will come back and haunt your sorry asses.

Are employees not worth more to their employers? I just don't get this, I know we deal with emergency situations but give me a break who the hell would venture out in this thing? This is way worse than last time when they shut us down and nobody seems to be saying anything. What to do, should I stay or should I go???? I hate making decisions, but i'm pretty sure I will head out at least in the next hour or so. I don't really give a rats ass if I lose hours i'm outta here in 2 wks anyways, what do I have to lose.

~sigh~

So not looking forward to driving home in this mess. To make matter's worse I have a headlight that's burnt out so with my luck i'll probably get stopped by the cops and get a ticket or something.

Wish me luck ~

OSCAR, OSCAR READ ALL ABOUT IT!!

I love, LOVE the oscar's. Not really for the awards (they are usually boring), but mostly for the fashion and the history of great movies. I don't usually stay up for the entire show and last night was no exception (typically I last until after the best supporting actor/actress and then i'm ready for bed). So last night I was all excited watching the count down, all the rich and famous beatiful pps walking down the famous "red" carpet. I would give some sort of vital organ to do this some day, but for now all I can do is watch and wish I could be there.

There weren't many surprizes last night (already been on MSN, gotta love it!), the pps expected to win did. Congrats to Hilary Swank (Best Actress), Jamie Foxx (Best Actor), Morgan Freeman (Best Supporting Actor), Cate Blanchett (Best Supporting Actress) and Clint Eastwood for Best Director and Best picture. I'm kinda glad I didn't stay up as I it was v. predictable and boring. Chris Rock just didn't stand up to the job i'm afraid, he was just lacking something and it's hard to fill the shoes of the likes of Johnny Carson, BillyCrystal, etc, just didn't enjoy him last night ~sorry~.

So in typical blogger style here is my list of best dressed and worst dressed (in my opinion anyways)

Best Dressed :

Cate Blanchett - wearing a "gorgegous" Valentino pale yellow silk taffeta gown was just absolutely stunning and old fasion Hollywood. Loved everything about this dress, the train, the burgandy satin bow, the colour. This women is just beautiful inside and out and she's such a wonderful actress and i'm glad she brought the Ocsar home.

Halle Berry - Does this women ever, EVER look like shit?? Seriousily she could be wearing a potato sack and covered in horse manure and she would still be stunningily beautiful. I almost want to hate her but she's just such a nice, kind, genuine person that I can't. She was wearing a iridescent taupe silk chiffon Versace one shoulder gown with embroidered shirt. She looked flawless and radiant. Unlike some of the other women who chose to wear taupe (see more below) she pulls this off well and then some. Another Oscar dress well done. Whoever is her stylist deserves every penny they get as they know what she can and can't wear and time after time she is just amazing.

Kate Winslet - Again another beautiful, flawless women who never does wrong. Didn't really see much of her on the red carpet but in her photo's, WOW. She chose to wear a Badgley Mischka in periwinkle blue (my fav colour), with a beaded inset down the front of the bodice. Love the colour and the style of the dress. Perfect for her and she looked fab. My only hopes is that some day she does get awarded an oscar as she is a one of a kind talent and she deserves it (mabye next time)

Charlize Theron - Last years best actress winner didn't fail fashion wise this year either. This dress is just dreamy and wonderful. Loved the seafoam Dior gown, with endless amounts of tulle. Looked so fluffy and soft and she couldn't look any better. Well done Charlize.

Beyonce - This girl had more wardrobe changes throughout the night but her inital walk down the red carpet in a black silk velvet Versace was striking and just simply Beyonce. I am just thankful that she didn't wear one of her mother's gawd awful tacky pieces that she's worn in the past.

Scarlett Johansson - My first inital look at this dress was not good but the more I saw her in it the more I liked it plus her honest remark to a reporter that she "couldn't breathe" made me appreciate her humour and her spirit. I'm not a big fan of black but it's a timeless classic and this Roland Mouret gown had a classic 20's feel to it and it grew on me. So I had to put her here.

My in between girl (not sure if I like or dislike, leaning more towards dislike as of right now but i keep changing my mind) is none other than Hilary Swank. She wore a slim fitting, tight sapphire blue gown with long sleeves and high neck and totally backless, not leaving much to the imgination. She did look stunning and certainly got everyone's attention but again just not liking how "tight" it was and not digging.

Worst Dressed:

Natalie Portman - I normally like her and her tastes in clothes, but boy did she go wrong last night. I loved her Roman headpiece but that's as far as that goes. The dress was ill fitted and it just looked nasty. The colour was wrong, wrong wrong ~ girl you can do much, much better and your so pretty all I can say is why??

Gwyneth Paltrow - I'm not a fan of Gwyneth and I hated her pink dress that she wore years ago when she won for "Shakesphere in love". Last night was no different. The dress was ok but the taupe/beige colour was wrong on her. It would just be the same for me, it washes us out and therefore you don't, I repeat don't wear it. Plus she should have had her hair pulled back loosely, or in some kinda up to, i'm not a fan of having hair down with a gown (exception for Halle Berry only).

Rene Zellweger - Again not a fan of Rene, hate her facial expressions when she does the red carpet, hate how super duper skinney she is I almost want to jump thru the screen and give her a donut or something eat girl PLEAZE! Her dress wasn't bad but it was clung so tightly to her uber skinny frame and she looked pained when she walked, also do not, NOT like her brunette locks does not do a thing for her and pls go back to blonde asap

Regina King - Not sure what film this girl is in but she looks familar. Again this was a taupe/beige dress gone wrong. Nasty frilly thing on her shoulder and the colour just does not do her justice. I'm sure she's a beautiful lady, but she looked fugly last night ~sorry~

Melanie Griffith - nasty, nasty, nasty is all I can say about her dress and her mane of bleach blonde hair. She chose to wear Versace (and on anyone else it probably would have been ok) again in a beigey colour. Washed her out and all I can remember seeing is pleats of silk with some embroidery on it. Poor Mel looks like she has been rode hard and put away wet. One to many plastic surgeries perhaps?

That's my take on it all and i'm sure I forgot a few but that's all I saw last night and in some pics today so take it or leave it.

It's quite obvious that I have nothing really to do today and I have zero amount of energy to work today & i'm fighting an extreme headache (been with me since I woke up this "am") but i'm still here at work (only 2 wks left) and i'm on the hunt for a job. Ended up turning down the job in F'ton that I had an interview for last week ~ I wasn't anticipating them wanting me to start on Thursday and the more I thought about it and weighed out the pro's and con's it just wasn't worth it for me to go all that way (an hour) to be making what I would be making & I would be doing shift work starting my shift at like 4:45 PM until 1:00 AM in the morning, which means I wouldn't get home until after 2AM and when hubby finally gets back to work that just won't go over well, so I turned it down. May end up regretting it in fact I kinda already am but I am pretty sure I made the right decision. Something will come up and I didn't feel comfortable jumping on the first opportunity.

Well I should try to do something today but i'm not up to it. Supposed to go after work to have a super in my honour with most of the girls from work. Not really looking forward to it as it's really hitting home that I am going to be done in 2wks. Hard to believe & hard to take in.

That's all for today ~ i'm out

this and that

don't know what to talk about today, i'm really jittery and nervous for my interview this afternoon. Not sure why, I usually don't get nervous but I am and it's bugging the heck out of me. Get to leave work early though *BONUS* can't complain about that.

Well I got two of my predictions right, not bad I might add but I forgot about Melinda (boy she must have really blown for me to forget her that quickly...) and it really surprized me to see Judd go, although when he sang his song again last night he probably deserved to be goin home. I liked him though, just somethin about him.

I've been having weird dreams lately, which is highly unusual for me as I never dream let alone remember them. It's strange as I usually hit the pillow and i'm out and I don't recall anything but blissfull darkness. But in the last week I have had several dreams sequences where there is some kind of crisis related to the end of the world. In one dream is was due to war/nuclear bombs, etc and in the other dream (one on one night and the other following the next right behind it) pps were extremely sick and dying but it was similar to Dawn of the Dead. V. Creepy and werid and I wake up with this icky strange deja vu feeling. Really strange and bizare. Didn't really hit me until I spoke with a girl that this could all be somehow related to the drastic changes that I am facing which could be true. Just really strange and it creeps me out to the MAX.

Went home last night feelin all bloated and FAT and decided that I would take my two monsters of dogs (German Shepards, one female & one male) for a walk into the big village and back as it was fairly warm out and it would do myself good and it would be good for them. They got sooooo excited that they dragged me for about half of the way until they finally got a little tired. Almost fell on my face several times, and i'm sure that all the pps driving by thought "who da hell", and i looked so cute with my hat and nice jogging pants (being very sarcastic here). But it felt GREAT the fresh air, the nice peaceful quite tranqulity of the woods, but man i'm really starting to work up a sweat and it's starting to get a little dark, so not good, getting a little scared now.....umm it's getting a little creepy now, the damn dogs decided to chase after a squirel or something and pretty much pulled my arm out of joint that feels nice, also am starting to get a blister on one of my baby toes and that hurts too but hey I finally made it home and I feel Fab as I got off of my ass and did something. Now to find something to eat.....heh heh heh

Where it's that time of the month ~ ya know what i'm talking about ~ i've been craving, no that doesn't do it justice but I can't describe it any diffently chocolate, so what do I go and do, stupid me, I had to pick up some groceries yesterday and i'm in the damn chip/snack isle (god I hate that isle) and lo and behold it was like a bright light shining and saints singing and everything there lies the mini Reeses Peanut Butter cups. OMG I frickin love these little bastards and i'm drooling in the middle of the isle and I cannot, CANNOT possibly wait another second to tear into the fuckers. So i'm booting it for the check out and i'm starting to froth at the mouth i'm so ravenous for these. I race to the car and throw in my other junk that I had to get and then i'm in the driver seat and it's just pure and simple maddness now and then there open and oh gawd how wonderfull, words cannot describe the pleasure I had in that moment. To die for and now i've been eating them left and right and I just can't stop. Thankfully, I only get like this mabye every 3-4 months, so it's not like every month but still just wrong on many levels

Well I have got to do some work today at least for another hour, ha ha get to leave at 2 today, Wish me luck in my interview ~ See ya suckers!!

American Idol (AI) Predictions - Week One

Ok, I'll try this again, last time I lost it and i probably won't remember most of it ~ stupid internet! Anyways, I want to start doing this every week as it makes me feel high up in the world, just call me H.Foster Recording Marketing Executive extrondinair (another dream job of mine.....heh heh). Move over Simon! ha ha ha ha

Anways let's see if I remember what I typed last time.

The boys - my bottome 3 pics

Jared Yates - He Sang "How could I". Simon compaired him to a "boy" band reject and that about sums this guy up. Can't sing, painful to watch, no flare or personality at all. I had him on mute and it still hurt to watch. Pack your bags boy your goin home.

Scott Savol - Sang "You are my lady". This is a fat whiteboy who looks like he belongs as an extra on the t.v. show "the soprano's". I admit he can sing but he's so grose and creepy to look at that it just ruins it for me. The last thing we need out there is another Ruben Stoddard that starts sweating as soon as they open there mouth to sing. Nasty.

Joseph Murena - Sang "How am I supposed to Live without you". That should say enough really, who sings or wants to sing a Michael Bolton song. BORING and lame. Had him on mute to as he hurt my ears. This guy looks at least over 30 and I am sure he lied his age to get into the contest. The judges gave him encouraging words though and said he's better than that but i'm sure the voting public will think differently.

The Girls - Bottom 3 pics

Sarah Mather - She sang "Get Ready". The judges were brutal on her song choice and I tend to agree. Just didn't work even though I tried to give her a chance. I couldn't remeber her from the audtions stages and i'm thankful that I haven't seen more. She reminds me a lot of a girl that lives close to where I do and is actually dating my hubby's cousin, snagle tooth and all, even the hair (when she had it longer) was the same. WEIRD. Everyone has a twin out there I guess but she has no chance in hell of movin on

Amanda Avila - Sang "How am I supposed to live....." another Michael Bolton song. HELLO pps if you saw a guy sing the same song the night before and totally blow goats don't sing that song too. WRONG wrong wrong.I think that's what she sang and it's what they had posted on the net, course I could be wrong and I can't really remember, I just know it sucked ass. Pretty girl (hubby liked her), she can sing but she's just missin that somethin. Don't think she will get that far and I kinda liked her early on but not so much anymore. Sorry but I think your on your way out

Janay Castine - Sang "I wanna love you forever" Overall the judges were quite nice to her and said that she can be good but her performances last night didn't show it. The girl looked absoltely terrified and she was so shaky and spazzie that I thought she was having a seizure. Vocals were all over and she looked like a deer caught in the headlights. She may be ok, but based on last nights performance she better have a strong fan/family base and she better snap around next week or she won't last long.

so those are my pics and hopefully this will work this time....beter save it first.....done now let's see if I can post it this time............

Daily Weekender Report

Friday ~ felt sorry for myself, slept in until my mother called and dragged my sorry ass out of bed and got me a movin. Applied in person for two jobs in F'ton (don't really want one but applied anyways...) really liked the other one, in fact they have already called me back for an interview (yippee), ate at Swiss Chalet, yum yum and came home as we are both poor and did not want to venture into the mall

Saturday ~ again felt sorry for myself, stayed in bed well past 1:00 PM, cousin jilly called around that time to go with her & "m" for some kind of ski-doo races at Palfry. Loaded up in the old civic and went for a bumble, turns out that it was over packed and we weren't dressed warm enough, decided to head to Klinkers instead to eat & drink some beer. Continued on our bumble through the back roads of McAdam and Canterbury, then proceed to a friends camp at 1st Eel, "m" put the car into a snow bank while we were all singing along to "I think were alone now" by Tiffany, to funny & good times

Sunday ~ Did absoltely shit, laid in bed pretty much the entire day & watched useless mindless T.V. actually got kind of bored and restless but still way to lazy to do anything about it. Got my weekly dose of Desperate Housewives, good show, can't really remember much now but yeah I think it was good

Monday ~ Again slept in, got to watch some daytime t.v. for a change can't really say that i've missed it. I've realized though that my dream job would to be a "barker" girl on the price is right. I mean how fucking cool would that job be, you get to dress up in dresses, outfits, bathing suits and parade around on stage waving your manicured hands and fake smiling and the fun rather disgusting flirting with Bob Barker who really looks more like a white haired skelton every day (how old is this man anyways......"shudders" just wrong). After my yearly dose of the Price is Right I had to get ready for yet another ultra sound and no i'm not preggers.....anyhoo had to drink 2-3 glasses of water an hour before hand so not fun and rather painful this time around. The stupid doctors here in Woodstock are jerks and asses and I was not impressed by their service and they made me feel stupid and like I was a waste of their time. I know something is not right with me but they can never locate anything on my overies and it's an endless cycle that i'm getting sick of, so yet again nothing came up on the scan and I wanted to leave there blatting but i didn't and my poor kidneys hurt for like an hour afterwords.

Returned home to have yet another nap only to wake up an hour and a half later to watch General Hospital and the proceed to be bored until American Idol came on at 9:00 only to be hugely dissappointed the men sucked ass! Like only 1 or 2 really interested me the rest of them blew goats quite litterally. One guy Antwar I think was really good vocally but he totally freaked me out at the end when they were going over his numbers he just stood there with this stuipd freakish grin on his face and he totally scared me. He looked like an alien or robot, really watch it back and you'll see what i mean......doo dooo doo (twilight zone music here). My fav Constaine kinda turned me off last night with his cocky attitude & vocally he was not on last night. The only ones that I feel belong there are Mario (he rocked the end of the show), Antwar (still creepy), Constaine, Bo, The Dude who sang Travelling Band don't know name, the rest can go the fuck home cause you SUCK, your boring, not cool and you SUCK. Don't drag this out for weeks man just send the lame ones home!!! GRRRR god knows what tonight will bring with the girls.........

So now it's Tuesday and i've been pretty busy at work (well not really) but it looks good to write it. Have one interview for Thursday this week (for a call centre in F'ton don't think I want it but will do the interview anyways) and the good news of the day was to find out that I have been one of the "chosen" ones to go for testing (basically screening before and interview) for the same department that i'm with now only in F'ton. So hopefully that goes really well and cross your fingers and toes that I get an interview and better yet the position as it's really great money and I really would like to stay within the gov't so that one day I can transfer back here......anyways i'm getting off topic. Oh I almost forgot, found out that they did get the 2wks of training for the new dude coming in on the first, therefore I don't get the boot until March 11. Which I will take, better than next Monday.

So that's it for my Weekend update, really didn't do or accomplish much but there it is for all to see and enjoy.
